Connemara dreaming...

If you look for Connemara on road signs, you may be looking forever..but you’ll know it when you get there as it is an area of heartbreaking barrenness and unique beauty, with dark bogs and tall jagged mountains punctuated by curving glassy lakes dotted with green islands. If you've never been there then make it your business to visit- For me its one of the most beautiful places in the world. I'm sharing some personal photos here just to give you a feel for this ever changing landscape- With so many wide open spaces its a child's paradise..and a photographers...oh and we always stay at a great little B&B Rossroe Lodge in Cashel run by a Franco-Irish couple- Good value, good food and extremely child friendly.
